Description
The Paddock is an award winning, adult only touring caravan and motorhome retreat for the discerning visitor. Set in 4 acres and located on the south shore of Rutland water with 15 generous grass pitches each with its own hardstanding if preferred. Pitches available with or without electric hook up facility. You can be assured of a relaxing and peaceful stay.
Walking and cycling around the reservoir is a wonderful way to pass some time whilst taking in the spectacular countryside views and spotting the wildlife including Ospreys.
There are many local amenities/attractions and with the markets towns of Uppingham, Oakham and Stamford only a short drive from the site you will have everything close by to ensure a memorable visit.
Rutland is England’s smallest county and with the appropriate motto Multum-in-parvo (much in little) there is something for everyone. An ideal base to explore our wonderful county.
The site is also located only 3 miles from The Fox in North Luffenham a well respected quintessential village pub which offer’s excellent food and real ales where a warm welcome always awaits you. www.thefoxrutland.co.uk

Direction
The Paddock is situated off the Manton to Edith Weston road along the south shore of Rutland Water.
Approaching from A6003 Oakham to Uppingham road
Take the road into Manton and continue through village leaving via the mini roundabout. In three quarters of a mile you will see Rutland Water Garden Nursery on the left. In a further 150 metres turn left into lane signposted Nature Reserve and Visitor Centre. The Paddock is 150 metres on the left.
Approaching from A606 Stamford to Oakham road
A quarter of a mile east of Empingham village turn into the road signposted Rutland Water South Shore, Normanton and Edith Weston. In Edith Weston take the second exit at mini roundabout into signposted Manton. Continue for about one and a half miles and see Rutland Water Golf Course on the right. In a further half mile turn right into lane sign posted Nature Reserve and Visitor Centre. The Paddock is 150 metres on left.
