Rutland Hall is a stunning lakeside hotel set over 70 acres of rolling parkland, on the shores of Rutland Water. Guests can enjoy a charming and relaxing visit to this warm and welcoming dog-friendly resort which offers two distinct types of accommodation – hotel rooms and individual, self catering lodges.
Flexible and varied accommodation
The hotel bedroom accommodation is split across three buildings, with nine of the bedrooms sited in the original former hunting lodge built in 1890. All rooms have recently been refurbished, many with unique features including private gardens and spectacular views of Rutland Water. If you are partial to a private balcony with a view, this is something our reservationists can accommodate when making your booking.
In addition, this lakeside hotel boasts 31 wooden lodges dotted throughout the site, adding to the resort’s unique charm and character. There are four types of lodge design sleeping up to six people, with additional sofa bed accommodation available too.
Blossoms restaurant, lounge & bar
Open seven days a week, the super popular Blossoms Restaurant, lounge & bar is the perfect spot for any occasion. Whether you are visiting this lakeside hotel for a quick drink with friends, you’re inviting the whole family to indulge in a classic Sunday roast or you’re planning an intimate date night spent sharing small plates from the open flame grill, Blossoms is the perfect destination.
During the summer, the large outdoor terrace area comes into its own, offering beautiful country and lakeside views. The ideal backdrop in which to enjoy a spot of al fresco dining.

For conferences, this venue works beautifully as a pressure removal system and oasis of well thought out focus for you and your team. With nine individual rooms offering space with delegate capacities that range from six to 500, we’ve got you covered!

Along with a packed timetable of classes ranging from yoga and pilates to health walks and baby aqua, there’s also an air conditioned gym, 22 metre indoor swimming pool, squash court and crazy golf course on site. If you’re wanting to venture further afield, there’s a wealth of activities within a five mile radius.
Pet-friendly location
With space to play, beautiful grounds to explore and long countryside walks to embark upon, Rutland Hall is the perfect lakeside hotel for you and your best friend. Canine companions are very welcome in the hotel grounds, the dog-friendly area within Blossoms lounge, on the terrace and within selected accommodation at a charge of £25 per night. Dogs staying over get to enjoy a dog bed, a toy and two dog bowls.
