Fern

Fern is an intimate restaurant space which focusses on small plates, organic wines and British aperitifs.

For our food we have three values – local, seasonal, British.

We’re interested in a focus ingredient per plate – whether it’s a simple radish or a Lemon sole, we’re cooking to make their flavour the best it can be. We’re keeping it quite simple.

Description

Our Aperitifs – we’re bringing aperitifs back in a big way and stocking only British ones. These are the base for our cocktail list too. We love independent distilleries like Vault Aperitivo from Saffron Walden.

We’re super excited about our wine list too – we’ve got some exciting organic wines from different countries, but also interesting British wines – Albarino from Kent, and Hedge Line from Matt Gregory Wines based on the Rutland/Leicestershire border.

We want guests to come to Fern for an experience, not just a meal. They should feel a part of something
