Enjoy our home cooked food, cakes, tray-bakes and snacks in this brand new Tea room on the southern edge of Oakham. Our lovely Tea Room serves a variety of hot and cold food and drinks, snacks, ice creams and more. Food is served to sit in or take away and we do our best to cater for all dietary needs. We also offer Afternoon Tea, which includes a selection of sandwiches, cakes, scones and tea or coffee (booking required).

Part of Rutland Farm Park, the tea room is a new building set in 19 acres of parkland, there is no entry fee to the tea room and gift shop, which has an extensive range of lovely local gifts.

If you choose to pay to enter the Farm Park, you will see the Ball family focus on the conservation and education of various flora and flaunt, conservation of rare breeds of sheep, cattle. pigs and poultry. We are also planning to conserve the Victorian Farm Yard and buildings.

Rutland Farm Park is a place for families, adults and schools to come and enjoy a fun day out. Children of all ages will be able to meet and learn all about our range of farm animals. They can meet our  lambs, goats and sheep and play with our fluffy rabbits and guinea pigs in Amy’s Farm Corner. You will be able walk through our Poultry free range bird pen, feed the birds, and get to collect our eggs.

You will be able to groom a pony, feed the cows in the winter, play on the ride on tractors and play in our brand new play area.

Direction

We are located on the edge of Oakham. Driving to us is easy and you can park for FREE in our onsite car park. You just have to follow the main road through the town centre and you will find us just down the road for the County Council office and Rutland County Museum.

Oakham Train Station is about a 15 minute walk from the farm park.
