Description
The Olive Branch and Beech House in the pretty village of Clipsham, just 2 miles off the A1 and 10 miles from Stamford and Oakham.
At Beech House six luxurious individual rooms all uniquely decorated and with deep baths and power showers, beautiful Egyptian cotton sheets, hand sprung mattresses, cosy down duvets and plump pillows. Traditional and antique furnishing combined with modern decor and plush fabrics.
In the pub the atmosphere is friendly and informal with chestnuts roasting on the open fire in the winter and real lemonade in the garden in the summer. With a kitchen team creating wonderful pub classics alongside more ‘restaurant style’ dishes using seasonal and local ingredients. Whilst at the bar a selection of local ales, speciality ‘country cocktails’ and excellent value wines.
With the help of friends, family and villagers owners Sean Hope, Ben Jones and Marcus Welford purchased and renovated this closed and run down village ale house turning into an award winning pub. Later adding luxury bedrooms in Beech House acroos the road to create this wonderful country village Inn.
