Cycling around Rutland Water has always been a popular choice for visitors as it offers the perfect pace for enjoying the picturesque countryside whilst being able to get to the next pub or café in good time!
The most popular place to hire bikes, electric bikes and useful accessories including dog trailers, child seats and buggies is Specialized Rutland Water Whitwell. Specialized offer a fantastic range of cycle hire options for all the family, which includes their high quality range of electric bikes and is handily located on the Rutland Water cycle track.

The Discover Rutland Food & Drink Map features two suggested bike routes for road cycling;
- The Northern Route begins at Rutland Garden Village and covers 24 road miles, with a shorter 14 mile option.
- The Southern Route begins at Normanton Car Park and covers 23.7 road miles
