Springboard Arts

Description

In the Springboard Arts studio in North Luffenham, you can enjoy making lovely things to take home at a craft workshop, and while you’re there, shop for handmade textiles and handprinted cards.

Springboard Arts began in Rutland in September 2020. Sue Ball, founder, has a wealth of experience in arts education spanning visual arts, music & drama. Inspired by how involvement in the arts has benefitted so many students over the years, she set up this craft based business to use arts activity to enable people to build confidence, enrich social time, and even act as a springboard into future careers.

Workshops

Workshops for all the family – come along to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, have fun with friends or simply find some creative headspace!

Group workshops are available for groups of five or less in the Springboard Arts Studio. Whether it’s lino printing, mandala bottle painting, Gelli plate printing, book folding, paper bead jewellery etc.. bring your friends or family along and enjoy making beautiful things and spending quality time together. All materials and light refreshments are provided. Ideal for birthdays, anniversaries or just having fun! Cards

Sue makes unique hand painted and printed cards for all occasions. Usually abstract modern designs, utilising the shimmer of metallic colours. Blank for your own message, these are more than just a card. Send them as a gift, and frame the mini work of art afterwards – hang it on the wall!

Handmade Textiles

Sue makes unique hand sewn cushions, fabric bags and other items using high quality fabrics combined with practical and stylish designs. See the website for examples of items to purchase or put in an order for your own bespoke items.
