Pack your bucket and spade and head to Rutland Water beach – the 1st inland bathing water location in England to have a Blue Flag and Seaside Award!
Located at Rutland Water’s North Shore (Sykes Lane), Rutland Water beach provides 140 metres of sandy shoreline and a 2,800m2 area for you to paddle and swim in. On site there is also a refreshment kiosk, mini golf course, visitor centre, children’s adventure playground, toilet block and an off-lead dog walking area.
Please bear in mind the beach is seasonal and is only operational in the summer months, as having a lifeguard present is vital for safety.
Please stay out of the water outside the designated opening periods.
Please note that the beach bathing operating hours area may change or close at short notice due to bad weather, maintenance or ground works.
