The 18 hole course is set in scenic countryside just south of Rutland. The course is a demanding challenge for all levels of golfers, which also has a proactive club and offers a varied programme of events and competitions throughout the year.
The Priors Hall Golf Course was officially opened in 1965. It was designed by Fred Hawtree, one of Britain’s finest golf course architects and is open to all as a pay & play venue, offering exceptional value for money.
The fairways, are wide, with generous light – rough margins. There are water features, mature trees, areas of thick rough and 58 bunkers – all well placed as shaped within Hawtree’s challenging design, making the course good for beginner golfers as well as the more advanced.
There is a practice ground area, a putting green and practice nets for use. Great value season tickets are on offer and visitors are welcome 7 days a week. The golf shop is well stocked offering Nike, Ping, Puma, Motocaddy and Priors Hall Golf Course branded apparel alongside golf accessories.
Onsite you can enjoy refreshments and meals in The Hawtree bar and restaurant with stunning views over the course. The Hawtree offers takeaway drinks and snacks as well as a menu of delicious freshly prepared food. Open daily to golfers and the public. Afternoon Tea can be booked in advance.
