Originally a 17th century farmhouse on the Exton Estate, home to the Noel family (Earl of Gainsborough) for generations at the head of a horse chestnut tree-lined avenue, The Barnsdale is now a superb 44 bedroom hotel and restaurant, named 1760 after the year the original lodge was built.

Wherever possible, we source our ingredients from local producers, so our sandwiches are freshly made using Hambleton Bakery’s award-winning bread and in season our salads come direct from our very own allotment.
