The Deer of Burley Wood

A guided walking tour to spot the fallow, roe and muntjac deer within Burley Wood. If conditions are right, you’ll have the chance to enjoy of the fallow bucks at their stands, their calls echoing through the woods.

Our safaris are semi strenuous with regular pauses including a light breakfast stop. You’ll need a reasonable level of fitness and be able to cope with uneven, wet and often slippy ground. On wet days, wellies are a necessity.
