Snowdrops Garden Open Days
Don’t miss our stunning snowdrop display this February!
Hailed as the first sign of spring and as portent of new beginnings, a walk among the snowdrops in Rockingham’s beautiful Wild Garden is the only way to blow away those winter cobwebs and focus on the months ahead.
Take time to breathe, reflect, and find peace as you move through this dazzling springtime display.
Since these beautiful flowers herald the arrival of spring, why not see what other signs of the season changing are slowly unfolding in the Castle gardens and grounds?
Hot drinks and snacks will be served from the Knight’s Hut in the Castle Courtyard, and children can burn off of some that half-term energy by following our garden trails. Children under 16 can enjoy free entry to this event.
The snowdrops are prevalent in the Wild Garden. Walkways are grassed and can be muddy and slippery underfoot. We recommend that you wear sturdy footwear to enjoy the visit safely, and always check the forecast.
As the ground in the Wild Garden can be challenging, it is unlikely to be suitable for pushchairs or wheelchairs.
The Castle and Walker’s House Tea Room will be closed during this event. Light refreshments will be available from the Knight’s Hut in the Castle Courtyard.
Well behaved dogs on short leads are welcome.
Historic Houses membership is not valid for this event. Advertised ticket prices apply.
