Mushrooms of Ancient Woodland

A guided walk through Burley wood with renowned mycologist Claudio Bincoletto to investigate the autumn mushroom species growing in profusion. We shall identify species as we discover them before gathering for a woodland breakfast of privately grown fungi species and a practical demonstration of 'planting' your own log with spores. You shall head home with a full understanding of how to grow in your own garden and a finished seeded log, ready for fruiting in a few months time.

You'll need a reasonable level of fitness and be able to cope with uneven, wet and often slippy ground. On wet days, wellies are a necessity. Please make us aware in advance of any allergies.
