Description

Home of Ferneley’s Ice Cream, an adventure golf course, children’s play areas and an amazing countryside view from the cafe, visitors can be sure of a warm welcome come rain or shine.

We aim to create a relaxing, friendly and all-inclusive experience for customers. There is plenty of space for the kids to let off steam, including a sports field, sand pit, climbing frame and indoor play area for under 8’s,  all in close proximity to the café so that the grown-ups can keep an eye on them while having a natter and a latte.

As well as serving breakfasts, light lunches and snacks, we serve our very own Ferneley’s Dairy Ice Cream, made on site in our dedicated ice cream kitchen. We make a visit to our farm café a really unique experience with the addition of a viewing window where you can see exactly how we make our artisan ice cream. Plus we are now tempering our own luxury Belgian chocolate which is on sale in the cafe!

We welcome cyclists and provide a dedicated bicycle park clearly visible from our patio seating. The café is situated close to route 64 on the national cycle way. There are many footpaths in the surrounding areas that pass in close proximity to The Dairy Barn Café so our café makes the ideal starting point for a lovely circular walk in the Leicestershire countryside.

Dogs are welcome in our dog friendly areas including the large patio in front of the café and there will always be fresh water available for man’s best friend.
