From Wednesday, 12th February, the gates to Easton Walled Gardens will open once again, inviting visitors to experience the magic of spring as the snowdrops take center stage.
For centuries, these enchanting 12-acre gardens have been a place of beauty and tranquility, lovingly tended by the Cholmeley family since 1592. As winter fades, the gardens come alive with drifts of snowdrops, creating a magical white carpet along the riverbanks and beneath ancient trees. These delicate flowers, emerging from bulbs that have waited nearly a year, are joined by hellebores in rich purples and creams, aconites, crocuses, and hyacinths, weaving a vibrant tapestry of early spring color. On sunny days, the air is filled with the scent of honey, attracting both people and bees to this serene paradise.
