Description
Ganders Goat pride themselves on their green focused farming and production methods. Come Goat Walking on the farm, where they produce a range of Soap and Ice Cream from the goat milk.
Goat Walking
Walking our team of goats is great fun, they can be playful or stubborn, bouncy or calm. We will guide you on a tour of our farm round our 1km walking route, along the way you will get the chance to meet some of the other goats on the farm including any new born kids (late march). We love our wildlife on the farm and hopefully you might see some, if not we will show you all the work we do to encourage a wide diversity on the farm. Total time will be approximately one hour to 90 minutes. Our bookings are exclusive, limiting each slot to just your group or party this gives you a real personal experience. (from £25 per person)
Soap
Ganders Goat is a small independent and award-winning producer of natural products. From our unscented goat milk soap bars to our lightly scented geranium and honey bars, our goat milk soap is made entirely from natural ingredients to help ensure it is kind and gentle on sensitive skin. The benefits of goat milk soap include relieving the symptoms of eczema, psoriasis and other types of skin condition that often lead to dry, sore, itchy, red, and irritable skin.
Ice Cream & Gelato
Our flavours are sourced as local as we can! Although it’s not always possible, most of the flavours are as local as 100 meters from our production room and grown on site. Flavours include;
Award winning Salted Caramel, chocolate, raspberry ripple, strawberry and “Naturally Naked” our no frills unflavoured ice cream but still just as good as you get the full taste of all the ingredients! Plus our award-winning hedgerow favourites, Gooseberry and Elderflower, Nettle, and Apple with a Blackberry Ripple, the later keeps us very busy late in the summer. Other guest flavours include Fresh Mint, Rhubarb and Ginger, Blueberry, Blackcurrent Ripple, and not forgetting the very festive Spiced Plum.
Soaps and ice cream can be bought online, at local stockists and some events.
