DESCRIPTION:This September\, we invite you to step beyond the familiar and explore a world of creativity waiting to be discovered across Northamptonshire and Rutland. Northants & Rutland Open Studios is more than an art festival – it is an opportunity to explore hidden studios\, beautiful villages\, bustling towns\, country gardens\, galleries\, and creative spaces\, while meeting the artists who make our region such a vibrant place to visit. \nFrom painting\, ceramics\, and sculpture to textiles\, printmaking\, jewellery\, photography\, and glass\, every venue offers something different. Some artists will be opening their working studios\, others will be exhibiting together in shared spaces and galleries\, creating exciting opportunities to experience a wide variety of work in one visit. \nStart your journey at our Central Exhibition at Lamport Hall\, running from 5th September – 3rd October\, Wednesday to Sunday\, 10am-4pm. Bringing together work from artists across both counties\, it is the perfect place to discover new artists\, plan your route\, and be inspired to explore further afield. Whether you visit one venue or twenty\, we hope this year’s festival encourages you to slow down\, explore more\, support local creativity\, and enjoy the rich artistic talent on your doorstep. Focussing on hard-working\, favourite flowers that give value for money and provide spectacular\, modern\, fresh flower arrangements to give as presents or for you to enjoy at home. \nAll materials included plus tea/coffee\, garden entry and Cream Tea.

Intimate personal narratives intertwine with high-stakes political intrigue\, revealing the depth and complexity of a woman whose story continues to fascinate more than four centuries later. \nCarefully crafted to both engage and enlighten\, this exhibition offers a moving and memorable experience\, whether you are a lifelong history enthusiast or discovering Mary’s story for the very first time. \nBooking Information  \nMary Queen of Scots: The Exhibition can be viewed by ticketed entry of £8 per adult\, £6 per child/student (ID required for students)\, under 2’s go free. Tickets are available using the booking link or on the door. \nYour ticket provides access to the entire Cathedral\, including the Exhibition. You can also choose to add a donation during the booking process (Supporter ticket) \nBoth standard and supporters tickets provide the same access to Peterborough Cathedral. \nSupporter Tickets\nAdd a little.
