Plus there will be a celebration of the Viking Way’s 50th Anniversary. \nMyBike collaboration event is set to giveaway free refurbished bikes and also to take away any unused or broken bikes to repair for the community. \nThere will be family-friendly activities\, opportunities to meet like-minded people and we will be spotlighting local services\, clubs and organisations around Rutland on our social media \nWhat’s on during the first week of Rutland Walking & Cycling Festival?\nThe first week features the much loved Rutland Round – a 65-mile circular route around the perimeter of the county\, with its start and finish in Oakham and a couple of detours to visit Rutland Water. The 65-mile walk will be split into six days and led by fantastic volunteer leaders who bring local knowledge\, encouragement and inspiration along the way. Limited transport will be available to return participants to start points (subject to availability). You can book to walk as many sections as you like or why not take on the challenge of the full Rutland Round. \nWhat’s on during the second week of Rutland Walking & Cycling Festival?\nThe second week shines a spotlight on the amazing local services\, clubs\, programmes\, and community groups that make Rutland thrive.
