DESCRIPTION:The popular festival will be returning from 16-29 May 2026\, celebrating movement\, wellbeing and community across Rutland. \nThe first week features the much loved Rutland Round – a 65-mile circular route around the perimeter of the county\, with its start and finish in Oakham and a couple of detours to visit Rutland Water. The 65-mile walk will be split into six days and led by fantastic volunteer leaders who bring local knowledge\, encouragement and inspiration along the way. Limited transport will be available to return participants to start points (subject to availability). You can book to walk as many sections as you like or why not take on the challenge of the full Rutland Round. \nThe second week shines a spotlight on the amazing local services\, clubs\, programmes\, and community groups that make Rutland thrive. Immerse yourself in the spirit of 1940s Britain with hits from the likes of the Andrews Sisters\, Vera Lynn\, and Ella Fitzgerald\, along with some lesser-known gems. Bring the whole family along to soak up the charming atmosphere and let the music transport you to a bygone era. \nDuring your visit take in the beauty of the Gardens in full summer bloom or head to Hide & Secrets with the little ones for an outdoor adventure. The Gardens and Adventure Play are open from 10am to 5pm with performances from our 1940s vocalist between 12 noon and 4pm.
